Regulation 126 Certificate of Compliance, Form 12 & Form 15

We offer design services, certification of compliance, and independent review and certification of engineering reports prepared by others. If the design satisfies the Aus standards and codes requirements to demonstrate that the Performance Requirements have been satisfied, a Regulation 126 design certificate will be issued. The Regulation 126 design certificate will be issued by a fully independent third party professional Civil Engineer who is in the Category Registered Professional Engineer building practitioner.

Specialised Certifications

Steel Rack Load Rating Assessments

Certified in accordance with AS 4084:2023, we assess steel storage racking systems to ensure safe load capacity and full regulatory compliance.

We provide annual assessments of steel storage racking systems, in accordance with AS 4084:2023, to certify safe load capacities and ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements.

Mezzanine Load Rating Certification

We provide certified load ratings for mezzanine floors, following the AS/NZS 1170 series and the National Construction Code (NCC) to guarantee safety and compliance.

Annual inspections and certifications can also be arranged to maintain ongoing compliance and workplace safety.

Performance Solutions

Custom-engineered solutions designed to address unique structural, or code compliance challenges where deemed-to-satisfy (DTS) provisions do not apply. At AJ Consulting Engineers, we develop tailored Performance Solutions using recognised assessment methods such as: Comparison with DTS provisions, Expert Judgement, Evidence of Suitability, and Verification Methods (including calculations or modelling)

Structural and Building Inspections

Certificate of compliance

The document is a statement made by the Engineer to the Building Surveyor that all structural design works have been carried out in accordance with the Building Act 1993, the Building Regulations 2018, the NCC and the relevant Australian Standards.

Regulation 126 Certificate

AJ Consulting Engineers offers review and certification services for engineering reports produced by others. Provided that the report satisfies the minimum requirements to demonstrate that the Performance Requirements have been satisfied, a Regulation 126 design certificate will be issued.

Quantity Surveying and Construction Management

We undertake construction management and estimation of residential and commercial projects. This includes the planning, design, engaging trades and subcontractors, costing, supervision and assist with the successful delivery of the project.

Dilapidation Report

We inspect your neighboring property or properties and undertake a comprehensive dilapidation report, which includes a thorough assessment of the building. We take note of any pre-existing damage to the property, logging it all in your report.

AJ Consulting Engineers can provide a performance solution by using various assessment methods to demonstrate that the design meets the relevant performance requirements. Performance solutions are often required for complex or unusual building construction, or when site-specific constraints prevent the use of a Deemed-to-Satisfy solution.
